Chapel

At the southern limit of the garden, next to the landing stage from Loppia, you find the noble chapel: it is a neoclassical temple designed and decorated by Albertolli
whose interiors show beautiful plaster rosettes and frescoes by Angelo Monticelli drawn by Giuseppe Bossi.

Remarkable are the sculptural works: above the altarpiece is the statue of Christ the Redeemer by Giambattista Comolli and along the walls are the funeral monuments.

Set in the external north wall facing the garden is builded the ancient door of the family home in Milan, attributed to Bramante and enriched with a tombstone of the family.

Facing the portal is a stone frieze with the symbols of the four Evangelists dating from the Thirteenth century and coming from larian area.
